This lovely family of 4 wanted their Carmel Valley backyard to transport them to a resort on the Amalfi coast so they could have a reprieve from their busy daily lives. We leaned into organic stone, wood tones and took inspiration from the scalloped blue and white resort umbrellas popular in coastal Italian resorts and chose a more modern black and white color palette.
